![]() ![]() For me the FX 18s were shooting around 905 fps when the the JSBs were again shooting in the 920s. I only shot one string of FX pellets and they were shooting about 15-20 fps slower than the JSBs. Those earlier tests showed an average of about 920 fps with the JSB 18s before the linkage issue.įor comparison, here are the numbers from the testing Charlie did with various 18.1 grain pellets: I did my earlier test letting the gun acclimated to the 40f degree outdoor temps and positioned further away at the end of my picnic table so it was about 5-6 feet away. In each case the muzzle was just a few inches from each chrony. With the Cricket II at room temp (66f) it was shooting at an average of 958 fps according to the Prochrono and 940 fps (286.5 mps) according to the Aliexpress chrony. I did a quick side-by-side chrony test today between my Prochrono Digital and a cheap illuminated chrony I got from Aliexpress (with JSB 18.1s). ![]()
